Here's a recipe for a 3-pound meatloaf that's packed with flavor and easy to make:
INGREDIENTS
- 3 lbs ground beef (80% lean)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat roster to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onion, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything together until well-combined.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a 9x5 inch loaf pan and press it down evenly.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar.
- Spread the ketchup mixture on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake the meatloaf for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until it is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving...
